Ewan the dream sheep & Gertie the good goose Review

First of all.. look how adorbs Nathaniel looks πŸ’™

Okay back on topic….. let’s start with Ewan the dream sheep…. one word .. OBSESSED πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Honestly I first saw it in Mothercare and wanted it because I love things like that , fun things that aid a newborn .. I’m all about wanting my newborn to feel safe … and also all about mama getting a good night sleep! ( I bought a crotchet octopus which is meant to make newborns feel safe as the tentacles mimic the umbilical cord .. it has been a FLOP so far!!! He hasn’t reached for it once and isn’t bothered at all .. may work for some babies but not mine .. yet ) anyway back to Ewan! So I didn’t buy it straight away as I had more vital bits to get eg bottles, feeding stuff etc lol. And then it also crossed my mind .. is this another gimmick .. will this actually make my newborn feel like he’s in the womb ……. well … take a look at my newborn πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚this was straight after a tantrum may I add and I put him down for a nap ….

And if you were wondering why Nathaniel was in such a strop before I put him down for a nap then …….. let’s thank Grandad for that , how to wind up a tired newborn ….

img_7476 So yes! It completely chilled out my newborn and he absolutely zonked after that!!!!!!!!

So this explains it better than I can …….

Ewan the dream sheep – the ingenious sleep aid that can be used from birth in almost any cot. By closely mimicking certain sounds from the womb, it helps babies and toddlers establish a healthy sleep pattern.Β ewanΒ Snuggly offers a similar comfort. Having been expertly designed using extremely soft plush materials for the body and silky fabric for his knotted legs – which allow little fingers to explore as well as a Velcro tail to secure a dummy or teaser,Β ewanΒ theΒ dreamΒ sheepΒ and snuggly provides extra reassurance for baby as they drift off to sleep.

And it works πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» Nates faves are the soothing music and the heart beat sound along with the pinky glow!!!!!! Awwww look at my lil bubba!!!

img_8576 He’s obsessed with it therefore I’m obsessed with it!!!!!! And he sleeps amazingly with it which means I sleep amazingly!!!! We are all winners!!! And I literally recommend it so so much! I also added it into my 8 absolute essentials for a newborn blog post! Which is all products that have helped me so much these past 12 days with Nate!!!!!

Second of all is Gertie the good Goose!!!!!

img_8585 Again this explains it better than I can ……..

She is a truly adorable 100% natural and safe teether – Gertie, has been expertly designed to soothe tender gums, making her not only the ultimate rescue remedy for the teething phase, but a super cool companion that your little one won’t want to be without! Perfectly sizes to fit babies’ hands, Gertie has been thoughtfully designed to lend her feet, tail, feathers and beak during the teething phase – providing pain relief, comfort and giggles! Made from 100% pure natural rubber and BPA, Phthalate and PVC free, Gertie is soft to touch and has a slight vanilla scent – making her the ultimate teething companion!

Lots of long words and some scientific ones too!!!!

So Nate isn’t actually teething yet however I did a little test!!!!

I put sophie the giraffe teether and Gertie the goose next to him and he grabbed Gertie!!! So in my eyes we have a winner πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» he also loves the squeak!!!! And look how cute Gertie is 😍😍😍😍But once he’s teething I will be doing a full review!

img_8578-1 So I recommend both of these products!!! And so does Nathaniel!

One last vid …. this was after a milk tantrum! Ewan went straight on! And he became quickly chilled!

Lots of love,

Daisy & Nate x
